Dr. Johnny Wan

Dr. Johnny Wan is Director and Management Consultant in WCL, with over 25 years of management experience in academic, public and commercial sectors. He is keen on strategic planning, business model, talent management and leadership development. He is also a seasoned trainer on empathy, mentoring/coaching and interpersonal skills.

Johnny has worked for The Chinese University of Hong Kong, in the roles of Director of Industry Liaison in the School of Hotel and Tourism Management and Associate Professor in management with a focus on business strategies and people development at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Besides university teaching, Johnny has been Superintendent in Hong Kong Police Force and Director-Learning & Development in Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.

Johnny holds a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Ottawa in Canada, an MBA degree from the University of Hong Kong, and a Ph.D. degree in management from Louisiana State University in USA. Johnny is currently a certified management consultant, a fellow member in the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management and a member of SKAL International. He is also a certified practitioner in MBTI, NLP and Enneagram; an honorary institute fellow in the Asia-Pacific Institute of Business of CUHK; an Honorary Advisor in Hong Kong Police College; a Training Advisor in Hong Kong Police Credit Union; and a registered mountain craft coach in China Hong Kong Mountaineering & Climbing Union.
